All that matters is getting her to agree to do the film and I’ll do whatever it takes. We can leave the past, in the past, right?

I thought my charm would win her over. Never would I have been prepared for the terms she laid out on the table.

She needed a nanny.

After Vance is fired from his producer job it gives him the push he needs to find an investor for the movie he's been writing. When he finally finds one, the last thing he's expecting is them to have one stipulation... he has to get Layla Andrews to agree to star in his film. 

Layla is a single mum and the actress that seems to keep getting overlooked for the starring roles. Trying to balance work and family isn't easy, especially when her little monster of a son keeps scaring the nannies away. When she finds Vance on her doorstep with an offer that she can't pass up, she ends up roping him in to watching her kids....and the manny is born! 

I loved Vance. You've got to give the guy credit for trying and I loved the parts with him and the kids. The nappy changing scene is one of the funniest scenes I've read in a long time. Layla rocks as a single mum. Does she always get everything perfect? No! And that's what makes her easy to relate to. Of course there's secrets been kept that have the potential to blow up in people's faces and plenty of sexual chemistry between Layla and Vance. 

A really enjoyable, funny romance with characters that are very easy to love and that will leave you desperate for more from Vance's friends Leo and Jagger.
